When it comes to Easter there is a very distinct theme that you have to follow. While some people might see that as an artistic limitation but for people like us that just want to end up with a beautiful batch of Easter inspired cupcakes that is a plus point and it is one of the best Easter party food ideas.
So here are a few pointers that will help you make a great Easter-themed treat. Key point number one, never forget about the bunny. Even if you can’t think of anything to make just make rabbit designs with the frosting on a cake/cupcake. Even such a small detail will make it more Easter.
Number two, go for the eggs. Making chocolate eggs or just covering anything, like a strawberry or a biscuit, in chocolate such that it looks like an egg. Sure it requires a bit more skill to get the shape right. Still, it isn’t something outrageous.
It’s all about colors, don’t have the time to do any of the above mentioned? Well, an easy way out would be to make really colorful cakes/cookies. Color is one of the more prominent aspects of Easter ideas.
Here is how you make some delicious Easter deserts:
Chocolate Covered Bunnies
- What you need;
- Wooden Pop Sticks
- Marshmallow Bunnies, as many as you want to make.
- Chocolate chips and sprinkles.
Making these is not that difficult at all. All you need to do is stick the wooden sticks into the bottom of the marshmallow bunnies and take the chocolate chips, or any other kind of chocolate you like, melt it all over the bunnies and let it cool. The sprinkles can be used as decoration, just put them on while the chocolate is still hot.
Peanut butter Easter eggs
- Here is what you need;
- Peanut butter, 1 cup.
- Milk, 1 tablespoon.
- Butter, ¼ cup.
- Powdered Sugar, 16 ounces.
Take the peanut butter, sugar, butter, and milk add them into a bowl and mix until they are blended perfectly. After that shape them into eggs, size is on you, make them as big as you want. After that is done put them inside the freezer for around an hour.
Now while that is going on take the chocolate you had and prepare it, and by that, we mean that you have to melt the chocolate. By that time your eggs would be frozen and all you have to do now is wait for the chocolate to cool a bit, after that pour it over the eggs and decorate them as you like and back into the freezer they go for a few minutes. Done!
Not everybody is going to wait for the deserts to come out and most people need a little something to get their appetite going. So, for that, we will help you out with our choice of Easter Appetizer.
